Le Mans Series

Same spirit, more races...
Team spirit together with long distance performance, as embodied by the "Le Mans 24 Hours" is the credo of the "Le Mans Series". As a most legendary race, the French Event's duty is to offer its competitors a full season to race their cars and contain the costs. Furthermore, the choice between GT and Prototype cars gives them the opportunity to compete in a first-class series according to their means.

Never change a winning formula, just improve it...
...and for the four races run during the first season (2004), the symbolic endurance format was selected to compete on the famous "1,000KM race circuits": Spa, Monza, Nürburgring and Silverstone. In 2005, a fifth circuit has turned the first page of the "Istanbul 1,000KM" book. In 2006, Donington has replaced Silverstone. In 2007, Interlagos will mark the arrival of a sixth event, the Mil Milhas Brasil. This will be outside of European borders and marks an important turning point in the history of the Series.

Le Mans Series... A meeting point for professionalism and friendship
A.C.O. guaranteed seriousness and professionalism; the construction of a friendly environment within the teams; all open to the public, is a formula that gives everybody the opportunity to take advantage of motor racing in another way. This alchemy is, beyond a shadow of a doubt, part and parcel of the success of the series which not only keeps their teams, but also attracts new ones in 2006. Le Mans Series was also a turning point for the "24 Hours of Le Mans" since the two winners of each category are directly selected for the following French 24 Hour Race.
